Vera Vojvodić is the founder of Duchess Concept, a boutique luxury travel advisory, and an independent luxury travel advisor based in Europe, specializing in tailor-made journeys and luxury hotel reservations with exclusive VIP benefits. After several years of working with American clients accustomed to the highest standards of service, she set out to bring the same level of expertise, dedication, and personalized care to her own clients.

Her journey into luxury travel began unexpectedly in 2019 while working with American travel advisors affiliated with the Virtuoso network. Over the years, she gained extensive experience designing complex tailor-made itineraries for discerning travelers, developed a deep understanding of the luxury travel industry, and built strong professional relationships with luxury hotels and travel partners around the world.

It was during this time that she realized there was room for a different kind of travel advisory—one built on long-term client relationships, thoughtful planning, and genuine personalization rather than transactional bookings. With that vision, she founded Duchess Concept.

Today, Vera works with travelers from the United States and around the world, combining her European perspective with a global network of luxury hotels and trusted travel partners. Based in Europe and traveling extensively herself, she offers first-hand destination knowledge while designing exceptional journeys across Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa, and beyond. Her goal is simple: to create thoughtfully designed travel experiences with the level of personal service, attention to detail, and insider access that discerning travelers expect.

Her passion for travel, however, began much earlier.

Growing up in Yugoslavia during the sanctions of the 1990s meant living through closed borders and countless obstacles. Despite those circumstances, her parents made sure that travel remained an important part of her childhood, giving her the opportunity to experience different countries and cultures from an early age. Her father, in particular, inspired her love of travel. At just sixteen years old, he entrusted her with planning her first international trip entirely on her own. After finishing her first year of high school, Vera independently obtained her British visa and organized a summer trip to London, where she spent the holidays with her aunt in 1994. Since there were no direct flights from Serbia at the time, her journey began with a bus ride to Timișoara, then still a small military airport, followed by a flight to London. That experience became much more than a memorable journey—it revealed how much she loved researching destinations, planning trips, and discovering the world, a passion that would eventually become her profession.

Over the years, she continued exploring the world, discovering new cultures and destinations. Among friends, she naturally became the person who planned every group trip—from finding the best flights and accommodations to creating itineraries and securing restaurant reservations and local experiences. When she later entered the luxury travel industry professionally, it simply felt like the natural continuation of something she had always loved doing.

Vera holds a degree in Art History as well as a Master’s degree in Museum Studies, a background that gives her work a distinctive perspective. Before entering the luxury travel industry, she worked as an art curator, a role she still occasionally returns to through selected projects whenever time allows. She believes every journey should be a thoughtful combination of culture, history, architecture, gastronomy, and authentic local experiences. Rather than following templates, she designs each itinerary around her clients’ interests, travel style, and aspirations. Her genuine passion for travel, combined with years of professional experience, careful listening, and an intuitive understanding of what matters most to each client, allows her to create journeys that become lifelong memories.

Today, as the founder of Duchess Concept, Vera helps clients turn their travel dreams into reality, discover destinations from a different perspective, and create memories they will cherish for a lifetime. She remains the same person who gets just as excited planning her own adventures as she does designing unforgettable journeys for her clients.
